For You, the Client:
  • Put yourself first - take 10-15 min prior to the session to relax and center yourself


  • Show up on time, and be present


  • Shut off your phone and reduce distractions


  • Bring a pen/paper


  • Allow yourself 10-15 min after the session to reflect


  • Commit to take action and work your plan


A Coach ...

  • Be your strategic thinking partner whose sole purpose is to guide you to achieving your goals and creating your successes.

  • Act as a facilitator, using tools and techniques, to help you unlock the answers you have within.


  • Be an expert listener, and will bring your attention to how you show up for yourself.

  • Be a mirror, a challenger, and ask questions to shake up your thought process.


  • Be a motivator and a cheerleader. The Coach is always on your side, even when you're not.

  • Not licensed to assist with mental health issues. (Therapist)


  • Not give you answers and offer advice (Mentor)


  • Not do the work for you (Consultant)


  • Never require you to do something you do not wish to do


  • Never lead the process, that is your job


  • Will not assume to know what you are going through or feeling.


  • Will not use a "one size fits all" solution.
